SWAS

A brand to appeal to young people but still be corporate – that was the brief for this exciting new venture. A blend of contrasts was needed for this brand!

The typography is formal and structured for the name, but loose and free in spirit for the acronym. The icon is structured and formal in black, with flares of colour. This is designed to show that within the Academy the free spirit of young people is allowed to fly, but is assisted with discipline and direction.

A series of photographic images has developed for the brochure that takes the flickering flames of colour and bring them to life with dynamic image manipulation.
