The Fat Hippo

This was a delightful and very tasty project to be involved with! The Fat Hippo brings to life generations-old recipes from colonial South Africa and creates a marvellous arrangement of chutneys, cordials and traditional rusks – a hearty snack for real men!
Gumption developed a brand that would adapt well to a diverse range of labels and packaging, which captured the flavour of Africa but was light and humourous.
