World renowned cheese maker Eddie Bestbier has spent the past several years continuing the great tradition of cheese making in our very own South West. Now, Eddie and his family are relocating to the United Kingdom with the intention of starting a new cheese company in the thriving seaside town of Eastbourne, situated on the southern coast of England.

In order to stand out from the multitude of well established, traditional local brands, Besbtbier for Cheese needed to present itself in a modern, dynamic, versatile yet professional manner. In addition, the brand was required to be used in a variety of ways, including wax stamping, and as such needed to be simple with uncomplicated line work to hold its form and consistency.

The final brand is a play on modern iconography and relates to the strong association of mice with cheese in popular culture. It shows a mouse closely grasping a piece of cheese, supported with the byline 'The Connoissseur's Choice'. The type for Bestbier for Cheese has been set in a mix of weights to subtly highlight the words 'Best' and 'Cheese'.
