The Shire of Busselton, in conjunction with the Geographe Bay Tourism Association (GBTA), identified the benefits of creating complementary branding for the entire region. They tendered for brand design both locally and in Perth, and selected Gumption's design as the most suitable for the brief.

The brand needed to be encompassing of the whole region and promote the region as a premier holiday location to a variety of demographics both nationally and internationally.

It also needed to be suitable for the Shire to use for corporate promotions.

Over time this brand is being implemented across the range of the Shire's printed and online material.

Below are examples of the two complementary brands for the Geographe Bay region.
