Elizabeth Fraser of The Fat Hippo is the caretaker of traditional South African recipes that have been passed down from mother to daughter over four generations. These recipes include very tasty chutney's, a thirst quenching lemon cordial and a unique watermelon preserve.
When Elizabeth approached us, we had a long chat about what she wanted to achieve. A self confessed 'foodie', she wanted to share the joy, fun and love of good food with others.
Firstly we developed a brand that reflected both the name and the fun that The Fat Hippo believes should be part of the experience of good food.
Presenting the brand was one of the highlights of our first year. Her joy and excitement at seeing what we had done, was a very rewarding moment.
We then developed labels for all the products that included unique diecuts and swing tags.
